We are stuck at the dealership now.?
“it?shouldn’t?take more that an hour” we are told.?
Lesson #2, Service Managers have a totally different take on time.
We head out for lunch and make the best of the situation. Tom rides two-up with me.?
Lesson #3, somewhere it is written that is un-cool for two guys to ride together on a bike.
He will probably never admit it, but I think Tom enjoyed the ride to the?restaurant.
The food was good. Of course it could have been we were just hungry, it was 2:30 by now.
Remember, “It?shouldn’t?take more than an hour”.
5:45 and after a “complementary” bike wash by Tow-Mater’s long lost cousin, we are finally on our way back south.
The trip back was perfect (and cold). Except for slowing for the occasional deer on the side of the road we made pretty good time.
A couple of stops for coffee along the way and I’m finally back in Neddelburg at 10:30.
Coffee wired and wore out… a?successful?trip.
Now for the plans for the next “radio ride”.
