Well,

The route has been mapped. 803.2 miles one way.

We are taking a couple of days to get to Chattanooga and a couple of days for the return. On the way back the plan is to stop in New Orleans for a night of ?stress relief?.

Who am I kidding, the whole trip is ?stress relief?.

As riding and time allows I will be posting updates and photo?s of the trip.

The first two days will include getting to the Natchez Trace Parkway and riding the Parkway all the way to Tennessee. The plan is to stay off the interstates as much as possible with the exception of the end of each day when the last leg of the day is highway to the hotel.

The trip from Chattanooga to New Orleans is all Interstate (500 miles). Probably the toughest day, but if you look on a map it?s all down hill ! If we had more time, I?d like to spend more time riding Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi. This will be a good recon ride for the next adventure.
