The last two days of the ride were both uneventful and exciting.The trip home started out calmly enough, then, when passing a Semi, one of the tires on the trucks trailer blew out!
I’ve always wondered what that would be like. Now I know. SCARY.
Rubber went flying everywhere. We were cool and passed without an issue. We did have to stop sooner than expected so we could all catch our breath and change our drawers.

The weather could not have been better if we had planned it. It rained all around us but we only saw sprinkles on the way to New Orleans.
After a night in the Big Easy it was a straight shot back home.
Got back in time to clean the bikes and cut the grass…. had a beverage and laid on the couch instead. Good choice.
I wish we had more time and spent more of the trip on the back roads. The Trace was fantastic and we will surely go back to finish that part of the ride.
The photo’s are of the mileage for the trip on our two bikes. Alice’s is a little less because she rode two up with me in Chattanooga. Still, after it’s all said and done, I’m ready to head right back out and go again.
Must be some sort of disorder.
