Well, maybe or maybe not.
Last night we finally watched “The Big Short”. The story documents the rise and crash of the housing markets and the arrogance, ignorance and greed of the Wall Street insiders and and eventually the government that that let it happen and then bailed them out.
Hers an interesting article on the implications/ramifications of these events:

I don’t pretend to be as savvy or smart as the jerks that scammed the system or the guys that bet against them but it may point to a dissatisfaction we are seeing in this election year.
The American people are pissed. There is no trust in government , there is no trust in our financial system.
Both have screwed us royally over the past years. One thing that has become painfully apparent, Democrat or Republican, they are one in the same. So we have Sanders and Trump, and Cruz, promising real change ( unlike the bullshit Obama preached) and the establishment-political class is scared. Personally that suits me fine.
If the fix is in, and it appears it is, we’ll see a brokered Republican convention and the Clinton machine take out the Bern. If the American people are still in charge, we just might have real change lurking on the horizon.
I forgot who said it first but a little revolution is a good thing.
