Words mean things. Ignorant and inflammatory statements have consequences.
Yesterday, two NYC police officers were murdered by a racist bigot. His actions, propagated and enabled by an administration in D.C. And NYC.
Our leaders have sided with race batters and hustlers, intent on pushing an agenda frought with lies and misinformation.
These idiots in office have destroyed a once great political party. The liberal bastion that once stood for fairness, equality and having an open mind,
Is now a party of small minded racist, political whores and the misguided who still think it’s the party of the Kennedy’s.
There are some on the Republican side as well, Rino’s who will do and say any thing to get along and be in the beltway clique.
The lives lost and the family’s and businesses destroyed this year have you to blame and only you.
Good job BHO and your drones. Your finally getting that change you wished for.

Its a cool and cloudy morning, yet I saw a small patch of blue.

Well here we are, jetting over southern Utah, headed to Big D.
Airline travel has become reminiscent of bus travel just a few years ago.
Some thing about airlines and airports turn the once nicest guy you ever met, into a raging *@&hole.
Maybe it’s the stress of putting your life into the hand of what looks like some kid, or maybe it’s just the impatience of wanting to get home.
I don’t know. Besides, dad’s the one that got a degree studying such things. I’ll have to ask him.
Meanwhile, on the American/Trailways Bus-O-Plane, aerial pot holes are bouncing us around a bit. Makes it challenging to type!
All in all, the travel experience , so far, has been nearly enjoyable. That’s probably all the airlines could hope for.
If it hadn’t been for the time constraints put upon us by the challenging away from home janitoral supply industry , …..we’d have ridden the Harley’s !
More dangerous? Probably . More fun? Absolutely !
So maybe next adventure we’ll be flying a bit lower, a bit slower and having one hell of a better time.

Our chariot awaits.

The hotel made us a hell of a deal on the mustang rental.
But hey, it was this or a Toyota Yaris. DUH!
Off we went to Lake Tahoe . What a trip. The road around the lake ( hwy 28) is a blast! More twist and turns and switchbacks than you can imagine. I have to admit, the Mustang convertible is an awesome car and way more fun than a Yaris 😉 The whole day was a blast. The drive, the views and the weather were perfect. All in all, a great anniversary trip.
Coming up with something for our 32nd will be tough.

It is so neat to walk around and check out all these automotive artworks.
It’s also quite tiring .
We made the auction, got floor seats, and watched the sale! Even heard we were on t.v.. The day was full for sure. The room is waiting for us and it’s time to crash. Saturday will be a blast . Renting a car and headed out to see the sights….stay tuned.

Finally made it! The plan for the remainder of the day is to explore this huge resort. Maybe check out the car show and live music they are putting on for the Barrett Jackson/ Hot August Nights shindig!

Airports are a drag. Some one really needs to work on that, but as you can see, our spirits are high!

Getting ready was a bit stressful, but not bad for old pro’s like us.
