The crisis of change-or-Why should the simple task of moving your blog to another site be such a pain in the A#@*

O.K.

Change is inevitable, I know, I’ve said that already, but technology was supposed to make our lives simpler.

NOT.

The more I play around with these other blogging programs, the more I’m missing Posterous.

Simple, loaded with features, easy to use.

Like me.

These other sites..are no comparison. Obviously created by people used to dealing with inane commands and workarounds .

Windows users.

Yup thats it.

Could explain a lot .

As it is, we will just have to “deal” with it and hope my Mac doesn’t get a headache.

I promise not to bitch any more about it

I knew it! Old Man Winter is to blame.

Farewell Posterous

Change is inevitable.

I don’t know who said it first, but I’ll bet they really liked something and BOOM! it went away.

So it is with the blogging site/company Posterous. I’ve used this site for quite sometime to post commentary, musings and random crap, as you know if you have been following.

Well, parent company Twitter has decided, in their wisdom, to close down the service. Really dumb. Really Really dumb. I guess those enlightened west coast techno-dweebs couldn’t make a quick enough buck off of it. Who knows. It really was a great creative tool, and easy to use and customize.

So,

We’re on WordPress now. We’ll see. Seems a bit clunky but I guess I’ll get use to it.

After all, Change is inevitable.

Stay tuned

Honey

Today was the day we knew would come, but dreaded.

Honey, our elder female golden/lab mix has moved on without us.

I am sure she’s in a better place where she can chase and run with out stumbling or pain.

We shared her for thirteen years.

Be a good girl…

United Nations to monitor elections for voter fraud suppression by conservatives

They are apparently on the lookout for “systematic” efforts to prevent minorities from voting for President Obama

You have got to be kidding me! If the UN wants to monitor something, how about genocide in Syria, elections in Iran or its own finances.

In the 2008 elections, there were numourous voter intimidation reports and voter fraud attempts (and we can only assume successess) carried out, BY THE LEFT! Acorn ring a bell.  This is just another atempt by the far left and their allies to keep an incompetent in office. Good Luck. It is not going to work.

Mr. Obama will not win reelection for the simple fact that most Americans, Black, White, Latino, Male and Female, Republican AND Democrat know he has been a failure. No amount of spin will fix it.
