Lets Get to Cooking!

I thought it was about time to re-share one of my favorite recipes. It is amazing…and easy to make.

It’s Time to Dine.

Ok. Something a little less heavy and non-political.
A BBQ Shrimp recipe!

First, some folks keep the heads on the shrimp. Not me. Peel them suckers and pinch off dem heads.
Second, ALWAYS cook the shrimp in the sauce. DO NOT boil the shrimp and cover them later with the sauce. Trust me on this.
Third, have plenty of paper towels on hand. Again, you really need to trust me on this one.
Ok lets go. First off you will need the following:
4 pounds of Peeled large fresh shrimp
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 lemons sliced
4 cloves of garlic, shopped
2 tablespoons of a good creole seasoning ( i know how rare
this can be in some parts of the uncivilized world, but find
some. its worth it.)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco (or more). no sub here, its the law !
And French Bread to pour it all over.

Spread the shrimp in a shallow aluminum foil-lined broiler pan.
Combine butter and everything else in sauce pan over low heat, stirring until butter melts. Add more tabasco and red pepper if you like, lo taste. Pour over shrimp.
cover and chill for 2 hours, turning it all over every 30 minutes or so.
Bake, uncovered, at 400 for 20 minutes, turn over once then serve over the French Bread.
Che’ its GoodYeah

Enjoy! And don’t forget the Paper towels ;
