I’ve been talking to dad over the past couple of nights.
They have really been dealing with a lot of weather. Snow, Wind. Snow, Freezing Temperatures, Snow..Snow..Snow. Oh yeah..SNOW.
It’s a great thing about Maine, it has all the seasons. With a mud season thrown in for good measure. The only down side is the above mentioned precipitation and it’s proportions.
Don’t get me wrong, Its great for us that visit and get to come back to our beloved Third Coast, but to deal with it every day for days/weeks on end has got to be tough.
Of course, the Ole’Man IS tough. A regular Down Easterner. Just without the bad teeth and bizarre accent.
Here on the Right Side of Texas, we are experiencing our own version of bad winter weather.
Two to three days of below freezing temps and the possibility of freezing precip and blustery winds. Folks on the street are dressed like Eskimo’s. Cute. It’s tough keeping your Cowboy hat on these kind of days and if it snow’s, even a trace, everything will shut down.
Four days from now the forecast is temps in the 70’s and Sun.
God bless Texas.
Joe Don
